Windows update error (0x800f0900)

Round 8
DISM ended at 47.1 (similar error as original steps - not last)
The WOF driver encountered a corruption in the compressed file's Resource Table.
No crash. Unsure if this was an ongoing issue. Came to head after cloning to larger SSD (crucial/acronis) and noticed couldn't perform updates, etc.

A bad clone should be the cause of all the corruptions in this case...

This is going to be a tough job to fix! Especially since all corruptions are related to build 19045.3636 which is a preview update? Because we make a little progress after each fix, I think it would be better to perform a repair install at this point. This is the quickest way to resolve all the corruptions.

Windows 10 Repair Install
This will reinstall and update the operating system and fix any corruptions, without removing any file or program. But make always a backup of all your important data!
  • Go to this Microsoft page and under the title Create Windows 10 installation media press on Download tool now.
  • Save the tool on your Desktop and double click to run it.
  • On the License terms page, if you accept the license terms, select Accept.
  • On the What do you want to do page, select Create installation media (USB....) and then select Next.
  • Choose the ISO file option. Once the download is complete, right click the ISO and select the option Mount.
  • Open the Windows File Explorer and open mounted ISO, and run the setup.exe file.
  • Follow the instructions and click on the option Change what to keep.
  • Select the option Keep personal files and apps and click next.
  • Windows Setup will now start the in-place upgrade installation to repair Windows.
 
Will give it a shot. Previous repair installation attempt failed in the second_boot pre_oobe with error codes 0x8007042b 0x4001e
Will advise here shortly
 
Ah, when you get this error: 0x8007042b 0x4001e again, please try to perform a repair install (in-place-upgrade) without an active internet connection.

P.s. is this system legally activated or using a (crack) KMS toolkit?
 
Thanks. The online repair is currently running. If it fails will try offline but that will have to be later this evening when I'm physically at the machine
This is legally activated. This cloned SSD was from an ACER desktop moved to an Intel NUC that I had freed up after purchasing a newer NUC.
Before: ACER Desktop, Intel NUC (previous gen)
Now: Intel NUC (Previous gen), Intel NUC (current gen)

Failed with the same error as before (PRE_OOBE, etc.)
