Hello,

I don't know if this belongs here but;

On 9/19/2015 I downloaded and installed (successfully) KB3074550 and KB 3074230. Both are security updates for .NETFramework 4.5, 4.5.1, and 4.5.2 for Windows 7 and other windows systems. I use Windows 7 64 bit SP!.

On 9/28/2015 (I didn't check my update history) on 9/28/2015 the same updates were listed by Microsoft Updates so I downloaded and installed them. The update history shows they were installed twice successfully.

On 10/2/2015 I installed KB 947821 (for Windows Update Corruption)

On 10/3/2015 (I didn't check my update history) I installed KB 947821 again. Again it was installed successfully.

On 10/4/2015 (I didn't check my update history) KB3074550 and KB 3074230 showed up again I installed them again. I was successful again.

On 10/17/2015 (I didn't check my update history) KB3074550 and KB 3074230 showed up again I installed them again. I was successful again.

I checked Windows update again yesterday and my two .NETFramework friends are listed as items that need to be downloaded and installed. This time I fooled them and didn't download and install.

I ran scf/scannow twice. Once In C and once in C:\Windows 32. Neither pass indicated corrupted files.

The stupidity is mine. However, I believe something strange is going on.

Therefore, I have attached the SFCFix log and the CBS.log.

Perhaps you can help or suggest another forum that might be able to help.

Can I uninstall some of the duplicate KB downloads?

Thanks

Hi oldraider67 -

I'll be assisting you with your issue. Wben353 isn't an approved helper in this forum.

Please go to Windows Update, check for updates and let me know the KB number of any updates that show available to install.

Hi BrianDrab'

The only updates that been suggested were KB947281 on 10/29. Which I already had successfully downloaded and installed on 10/25 KB 3102010 was listed as an optional update which I downloaded and uninstalled successfully.

Listed as optional are Silverlight KB3080333, Skype KB2876229, and Microsoft Point Drawing Microsoft Mouse had no KB #. I have passed on these for some time.

Thanks,

oldraider

OK thanks. It appears that all of your updates have been installed successfully then. I don't see that you are currently having an issue with Windows Update.
