Hey there,

For the last month or so whenever I attempt a windows update (both through the system settings or with a standalone .msu file) I get either a 0x8024200B or 0x8007000D error.

CBS log:

Things I already tried:
  • Restart & repeat
  • Windows Update troubleshooter
  • sfc /scannow
  • SFCFix
  • del C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution
  • del C:\Windows\System32\catroot2
  • dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
  • dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
  • dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth /source:[installation media] /limitaccess
  • Disconnect and uninstall unknown device from Device Manager
  • Every solution in Manuel Gil's Reset Windows Update Tool
What do you think? Any way to solve this other than a system reset or reinstall?
