P.S. In the bottom right corner of my desktop since the scan its written :

Test mode
Windows 7
Number 7601
Thanks alot !! Still having this problem :/

SFC has repaired some files which is a good start, the files that SFC /SCANNOW has repaired a lot of them are critical files for Windows validation/Activation, the fact that the message is now appearing in the right hand corner about test mode could be an indication of something that has gone wrong.

This scan should help us work out exactly what the issue is.

  1. Download MGADiag (by Microsoft) from the link found below:
    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012
  2. Run the tool by double-clicking on the file. Press Continue when prompted
  3. When it has finished, press Copy then Paste (Ctrl+V) this into your next post please

Please also mention what version of windows is mention on your COA sticker (if you have one) but don't post the key.
How to Tell ? Hardware

Hey Thanks alot for you help !!!

I did not find the COA sticker because I bought my comp on an online website. Then bought a Genuine Microsoft Key online.

I have some bad news for you :(

The key was obtained through a Microsoft programme, such as TechNet or MSDN (Microsoft Developer Network. These services allow someone to purchase a subscription (from MS) and get 20 or so product keys for every MS product. It's designed so software developers can just buy one subscription and test out their program on the OSs without having to purchase loads of individual licenses. The problem is, this system often gets abuse.

A reference you might find useful on these MSDN keys are:
http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/...85/blocked-product-keys?forum=genuinewindows7

It is also a good idea to report Counterfeit software to Microsoft:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/howtotell/cfr/Report.aspx

Okay yeah this make sense .... well a friend of mine gave me his LEGIT KEY for Windows 7 Home premium. I have the screenshot from his COA sticker. What could i do with it would it work for my Windows 7 ultimate ? Or could I download the .iso of Windows 7 Home premium and switch to it with my Legit key?

Thanks alot!
