At some point, I noticed that all updates fail with error 0x800f0922, I have had this problem for several months now. I thought to wait for the next update to be released, but this did not fix my problem and then I started looking for the true reasons.
1) sfc /scannow
=> Return "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations"
2) Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
=> Return error 0x800f081f, I tried to use the source flag to restore from the image from which this system was installed, but this did not help.
I Try:
1) set /Source flag to USB flash drive with intaller this system
(D: is flash drive)
dism /Get-WimInfo /WimFile
:\sources\install.wim
=> Return: index 4 is my Windows Server 2019 Datacenter
And i try:
dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:wim
:\sources\install.wim:4 /limitaccess
=> Return error 0x800f081f! NO CHANGES! I experimented and sorted through all the indexes and the location of the install.wim file, I copied it to the root of the system drive and tried to restore it so it didn’t help either
3) SFCFix was unable to detect and fix anything
Help please, I can’t solve this problem for a very long time!
