Hi,

Follow these instructions to remove an update.
  • Open the Start menu of Windows and type the command CMD
  • When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
  • When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, then press enter.
Code:
wusa /uninstall /KB:5017263
  • Let me know if it says it was successful or you get the message: The update KB5017263 is not installed on this computer.

Hi @Maxstar ,

I found out that the server doesent install windows updates ass well... It recover after restart. In the Attachments you find the files for the recovery from normal windows updates.

Bacause of size you find the other files under: Logs.zip

Now I test the .net after your cmd code...

The .Net Updates does not install asswell. The uninstallation of 5017263 worked fine.
I send you new logs with both fails in some minutes... (Win and .Net).

Let's fix the rollback issue first, please do the following to perform a filescan.

Download
56f31e53c97da-SFCFix.PNG
SFCFix and save it to your desktop.
  • Download the attachment SFCFixScript.txt and save it to your desktop.
  • Drag the SFCFixScript.txt file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Strange, let's try FRST.

Download the

Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop:

Right-click on the file FRST64.exe and choose Run as administrator.
  • Copy and paste the following (code) into the Search box and click the Search Files button.
Code:
ntprint.inf
  • When the scan is complete, a message will display that 'Search.txt' is saved in the same folder FRST was started from. Notepad will open this file also.
  • Post the logfile Search.txt as attachment in your next reply.

Warning: This fix was written specifically for this system. Do not run this fix on another system.
  • Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
  • Download the attachment SFCFixScript.txt and save it to your desktop.
  • Drag the SFCFixScript.txt file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

Afterwards reboot the server and attempt to update. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS logs as well as the Setupapi.dev.log.

I'ts unclear why the filescan failed the first time, let's hope Windows Update will succeed after the last fix.

I did not provide a fix for the .NET issue yet, only for the driver issue which is causing the rollback.
