Hi,

Step 1. Download
56f31e53c97da-SFCFix.PNG
SFCFix and save it to your desktop.

Warning: This fix was written specifically for this system. Do not run this fix on another system.
  • Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
  • Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
  • Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.
Code:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

Hi,

I've attached the SFCFix.txt file as requested. Unfortunately the DISM command is still running (stuck at 98.5% for over 10 hours). I've also attached the CBS.log file as well, in case there are any other clues as to why the DISM command is still running.

Hi,

After the reboot, I ran the DISM command and it failed at 98.5% with a 0x800f081f error. I've attached the latest CBS.log file in a ZIP archive.

Hi,

I have more good news, the restore operation completed successfully.

I ran Windows Update, there were no errors and I can see that KB5030214 installed successfully.

Thanks so much again for all your help!
