Open the Start menu of Windows and type the command CMD When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, then press enter. Code: wusa /uninstall /KB:4534273 Let me know if it says it was successful or you get the message: The update KB4534273 is not installed on this computer.

I cannot apply Windows Update and when trying to install any role from Add Roles and Features. Click to expand... Great, please try to install a role or feature first, this will trigger the same error as trying to upgrade. Let me know the result when you try to install one of them, if it fails attach a new copy of the CBS logs.

Installed first update of WU and that too installed successfully. The server is now restarting. Let's hope it's been resolved completely! I'll update you as soon as the server comes back online! Thank you!!

Glad to see this server is up-to-date now. Salva84 said: Out of personal curiosity, were the problems failed updates? Click to expand... In short, remnants of a certain update caused this problem, and some other files were also missing. I will mark this thread as solved...
