Hello together,

I have the following problem:

We have a Windows Server 2019 that is having problems installing updates. The last update where it hangs is KB5018419.

The server downloads and installs the update and then wants to reboot. But you can reboot as much as you want and it gives the error 0x80070bc2.

I then tried SFC /Scannow but got the message that a system restart is pending.

I have downloaded the tool SFCFix and started it. I got an error message that Stage 1 failed and that the upload failed. After that, the SFC Fix great executed a DISM Repair command which failed at 81.5% with the error message 0x800f081f.

I then mounted the installation ISO in the VM and entered the DISM command with the source to the ISO but the repair did not start after 20 minutes there was still no percentage and I closed the CMD window.

I created a checkpoint before running the SFC FIX tool. I added all the LOG files and reset the checkpoint.

Unfortunately, the problem could not be solved and I need a solution as soon as possible because we have to update the programme on the server so that the colleagues can work again.

Many thanks in advance

Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.
