[SOLVED] Windows server 2016 - update KB5030213 cannot be installed

Hi,

I am not able to install update KB5030213 on a Windows server 2016 VM. It says that ''A security issue has been identified in a Microsoft software product that could affect your system''.

But I was able to install KB5030504.

Already tried to manually install this update KB5030213 via the Microsoft Catalogus but I still get the same error.

In September 12, 2023—KB5030213 (OS Build 14393.6252) - Microsoft Ondersteuning it said that are no known issues with this update.

Any ideas?

Step 1. Download

SFCFix and save it to your desktop.

Warning: This fix was written specifically for this system. Do not run this fix on another system.

• Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
• Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
• Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

• SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
• Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
• Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.

DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth
