Hello,

It's probable these issues started after some virtualization activities a few months ago.
I've already run the usual Windows Update repair scripts, SFC, DISM resetbase and startcomponentcleanup.

Cumulative updates fail with 0x800F0900 and DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth fails with "Error: 1734 The array bounds are invalid".

Thanks!

Hi and welcome to Sysnative,

Step 1. Download
56f31e53c97da-SFCFix.PNG
SFCFix and save it to your desktop.

Warning: This fix was written specifically for this system. Do not run this fix on another system.
  • Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
  • Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
  • Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.
Code:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

Thanks, Maxstar.

I opted out of the communication bit and it was still successful.
Sidenote: the SFCFix.exe URL you sent is http, but using https instead worked with no browser warnings getting in the way.

The Cumulative install was then successful after a reboot! Thank you!
