I had problems with Windows Media player and kept getting an error message saying that it had corrupt files and needed to be reinstalled. I searched online and found where it said to do sfc/scannow and it possibly might fix my problem. I did the scan and it fixed my issue with Windows Media Player, however, I received the following message at the bottom of the scan. "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them." I ran the SFCfix and here is the results:

Not sure how to fix this and I would really appreciate any assistance that I can receive.

Those errors can be safely ignored. It's a bug Microsoft is aware of and is fixing. It doesn't affect the function of the machine. More info is below.

This update contains the following two manifests that are occasionally updated by the Diagnostic Tracking Service:

telemetry.ASM-WindowsDefault.json
utc.app.json

The two files are marked as static files in the update. When an advanced user runs the System File Checker Tool (sfc.exe), the files are unintentionally flagged as corrupted. There is no impact or corruption on a device that is running this update, and this issue will be fixed in a later service update.

Thank you so much. I will have to look at the scan we did on my husbands desktop. His computer has Windows 8.1 and also showed corrupt files. Was waiting to hear on the result of mine and was going to send you his.
