Windows Powershell Won't Open

When I try to open Windows Powershell, a windows shows up then immediately closes.

Bring up a CMD screen (WIN+X keys); type powershell into the CMD screen.

I tried that already. Same problem

"Same problem" as in when you type powershell into a CMD screen, it closes. . .?

I think my other response was removed from this thread cause I replied that I did not try powershell in cmd. I think powershell in command would have successfully converted cmd into powershell.
