Hi, I'm not able to update my Windows even after following all the steps outlined in different forums throughout the internet. Even after using the sfc /scannow and the Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth commands.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would not like to reinstall Windows and have to backup tons of file before reinstalling.

Thanks in advance.

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.
Code:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

Hello, I've attached the new SFCFix.txt and the new CBS log too. And I've included the new Component Scanner file too and the screenshot too after the running DISM command. Thanks a lot for the help.

Hello, I'm trying to update my Windows. I'll let you know if it was successful or not after I restart. Thanks.

Great, let me know the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS logs.

Hi, I was able to update Windows to the January 23, 2024—KB5034203 (OS Build 19045.3996) version but I'm not able to install the security update as provided on the screenshot. I'm getting the 0x80070643 just for this module.
