WINDOWS IS NOT UPDATING .

MY WINDOWS IS NOT UPDATING neither automatically nor manually.
I am using windows8.1 also have avast antivirus.
My windows is genuine and the laptop is in warranty of DELL.
when I contacted their customer service ,they just reset my windows.
After "RESETTING" windows , the problem continued & when I trouble shooted it ,it shows "SERVICE REGISTRATION IS MISSING OR CORRUPT".
PLEASE HELP ON THIS.I FEEL DEJECTED LOOKING FOR THE SOLUTION HERE AND THERE.

Do you get an error message when checking for updates or when installing them?

Please zip and attach C:\Windows\logs\CBS\CBS.log
If the zip is larger than 8MB, please upload to a file sharing service such as OneDrive, DropBox, SendSpace, etc. and include the link with your reply.
