Re-Installing windows 8 on a Dell Inspiron One 2330 All in One PC after Hard Drive Replacement. It has windows key integrated in system can and I didn’t have restore image so I purchased a 8 pro w/key. Will I need it or not and is pro the same as 8 as far as accepting install Also will windows partition the drive as needed or would I need to do that

You can download the Windows 8.1 ISO here. You should not need your installation key. If the key does not auto fill in, you'll have the option to call Microsoft's automated validation line. Pro is not the same as 8, if you did not have pro before then your new installation with the old key will not be pro. It doesn't matter which one you install, the key you have will determine your version. If you want Pro, install it via the ISO in the link and when it gets to the key part, enter the Pro one you purchased and you'll have 8.1 Pro.

When you get to the partitioning part, you might have to choose new, upon choosing new, Windows 8.1 will create the partitions it needs automatically.
