Hi guys,

Struggling to install the latest Fast Ring insider build on my Surface Pro 4 (Build 14332). It's currently on 1511, but I want to move it to the fast ring.

It's always failing with 0x8024200D. It reboots to the "Copying files" stage and then reboots after getting to about 15% before restoring my previous version of Windows.

Code:
  ERROR_DS_ATTRIBUTE_OR_VALUE_EXISTS winerror.h
# The specified directory service attribute or value already
# exists.

I've tried clearing the SoftwareDistribution Download folder to no success.

SFC is clear. CBS attached.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Stephen

Do you happen to use ESET antivirus?

Hmmm, yes I do have ESET installed on that machine. It's ESET NOD32 v9.

I'll try uninstalling it and see if that fixes it.

Thanks

Updated successfully after removing ESET.

Reinstalled ESET after the update with no problems either

Thanks!
