I am running Windows Home Server 2011 (basically Windows Server 2008 R2 as I understand it) and having trouble with Windows Update. I was getting errors that a service was not running when trying to check for updates, this was resolved by renaming software distribution folders (following Microsoft instructions). I am now able to check for updates but for many the update hangs and fails to finish installing at 99%. I have tried downloading individual updates from the catalogue and installing 1 by 1 but still get the same problem with some updates.

I have run SFC with the CBS folder uploaded below

I have run the SUR tool with the below results

I have run SFCFix with the below results

I tried locating the two manifest files mentioned in the SUR tool log on the installation DVD, but they appear to be different versions, and I'm not sure where to get the correct versions from
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated, thank you.

Sorry for the delay!

Thank you so much for your help, that seems to have done it. The first time I installed updates 3 out of 6 failed, but after restarting and rechecking for updates they didn't reappear, and 2 further updates have installed successfully (now showing none to install).
Thanks again!
