[SOLVED] Windows folder doubled up in size. Ruled out the usual suspects

As the title suggests. Nothing stands out. WinSxS is merely 9 GBs, SysWOW64 and System32 around 10 GBs when put together, but I have no idea where the other space went. We are talking 63 GBs for Windows folder, which is about 53% of my drive. No, buying a larger drive is not an option I'm considering for this machine.

Checked the Temp folder, SoftwareDistribution, Assembly (1GB each), hibernation settings (off), malware (none), SFC clean...

Ideas?

What's the output of Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /AnalyzeComponentStore

Run WizTree (Antibody Software - WizTree finds the files and folders using the most disk space on your hard drive) and see if you can see what's eating up the space

Thanks. Worked beautifully. Identified C:\Windows\Installer as the culprit whose size I couldn't see. Used PatchCleaner and voila! Got my space back!
