Hi, i was trying to do a system restore because i have Bluestacks here but it's not opening anymore. As i think this is because of a recent driver install i decided to use system restore but it always fails. Right now i've tried to do it again but it says there was a system restore failure when scanning files system on C:\ and that it was corrupted. They even told me to run scandisk. If it helps, the system restore error code is: 0x81000204. Don't know if i need more logs. I only have this log from sfc /scannow command.

It should be in the same place. (In your language - Portugese?)

Click Start
In Box type Restore
Click System Restore
Click Next

Should work

MS answers: System Protection tab Missing in Safe Boot (click)

Petrula: the fact that in Safe mode, the System Properties dialog is missing the System Protection tab is a bug which you need to report to the software development staff.

Deepika Gowda: this is by design you will not found System Protection tab in Safe mode. Users are not recommended to perform System Restore from Safe mode as it will remove the earlier restore points

Actually, it works fine in Windows 7. I am unfamiliar with Win 8 & 10. I know because I recently did a Restore Win 7 64 Pro in Safe Mode and it did not remove my prior Restore points. Here OP must be using Win 8 and the info above is for 10. Just another case where things work much differently in various windows versions.

However, the link above shows you exactly how to access Restore point in Windows 10. Not sure in 8.
