A ashima New member Joined May 8, 2014 Posts 1 May 8, 2014 #1 im using the 64bit windows 7 version. my windows explorer keeps crashing everytime i try to paste my pictures onto an external hardrive. i have uninstalled practically every single application. i have deleted the COM surrogate viruses. I have even been through the shellex registry steps. my explorer still keeps crashing every time i try to paste my pictures onto an external hardrive. after running sfc/scannow. i got this feedback Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7006] Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. Open an elevated Command Prompt by right-clicking on CMD.EXE shortcut in your start menu and selecting Run As Administrator from the context menu. Type the following command: Code: C:\ProcDump\ProcDump.exe -e -ma -w explorer.exe C:\ProcDump Try pasting some media file so Explorer gets crashed. Compress the DMP file, which was newly created in C:\ProcDump directory. Upload the compressed file to a file sharing service (e.g. OneDrive or DropBox). Share the download link here. Thank you.
