Windows & browser lock up & lose network connection

Can someone please look at this thread & tell me if it should be moved to this forum?
Internet disconnects & system / browser locks up

Initially I thought it was a network problem. I have to reboot the PC several times a day. Control Panel locks up. The last time I let the PC sit awhile & Windows did not wake up & I had to power off the PC. Now I'm thinking the problem lies somewhere else. FWIW a couple times when the internet stopped working I called Comcast & they looked & said I was connected.

Rethinking things makes me think losing the internet connection is not causing the problem. But the problem is preventing my connected PC from accessing the connection.

Any thoughts & suggestions would be appreciated,

It sounds like you may have multiple different problems, but the BSOD forum is not the appropriate forum for any of them.
