Windows 8 is complete and ready to send to hardware partners, but how do the final versions of the built-in apps look?

extensive collection of
screenshots from the operating system, showcasing apps like Xbox SmartGlass, People Hub, Bing, and games like Minesweeper and Solitaire. All in all, it looks like the Metro design elements translated quite nicely across all of Windows 8; now all we can do is wait to see it in person on
October 26th.
