Hello. This is my first post. My cut and paste stopped working, but not in all programs. Generally if I hold Alt and right-click any file, it comes back. However, this is not working currently. I ran sfc /scannow and the CBS.log reported four errors. The lack of being able to cut and paste is not that big of a deal, but the errors bothered me, so I Googled the issue and was lead here.

Any help would be appreciated.View attachment CBS.zip

Thanks!

This is currently a reoccuring problem for many people, and I am currently investigating why. Would you mind helping me with this investigation?

The fix will come in two parts. This first part is going to be to help me with my investigation :)

SFCFix Script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

 1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
 2. Download the file below, SFCFix.txt, and save this to your Desktop.
 3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
 4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.txt.
 5. Drag the file SFCFix.txt onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
 6. SFCFix will now process the script.
 7. Upon completion, a file and a folder should be created on your Desktop, titled SFCFix.txt and Tekno_Venus respectively.
 8. Copy (Ctrl + C) and Paste (Ctrl + V) the contents of the SFCFix.txt file into your next post for me to analyse please - put

tags around the log to break up the text. Then zip up and attach the Tekno_Venus folder to the post for me to look at please.
