Hello,

I found a solution for me in the meantime. I just renamed the msdtc.log into msdtc.alt in the folder "C:\WINDOWS\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-com-dtc-runtime_31bf3856ad364e35_6.3.9600.16384_none_0a1162f033fa01f6\". For renaming I boot the PC with a live-linux . After the renaming the installation worked fine.

Thank you for your help.

Hello Dirk,

That solution may causes issues down the track, I would recommend that we still try and fix this compressed file issue the correct way.
