Hi,

So I recently refreshed my laptop with Windows 8.1 after my laptop was going downhill, mostly because my housemate kept using my laptop without my knowledge or permission..... and I want to change my password...
cant download.
I then realised that it wouldnt let me change my picture password and the only way to fix this seemed to be refreshing it (from what I could see online). Anyway I did this and I was having difficulties trying to download MS office again and was speaking to someone from MS who suggested I can get a free update of Windows 8.1 in the next few days... thing is I cant see the logo on the bottom right screen and I tried to update windows to make sure its up to date and ready and I found out that
KB3003667 cant download.

Ive tried downloading it a couple times and looked up what it is but honestly im lost at this point. Can anybody help me understand what it is that my laptop is unable to install? How this affects my laptop? And also how I can get this symbol on my laptop so I can reserve windows 10 please?

Thank you :)

Amy

Hi shermii :)

The KB3003667 is only an update that add supports in Windows 8.1 and Windows RT for specific camera file formats. Not having it installed won't affect your system at all (unless you use the cameras and file formats described in the KB article). As for your other issue, there's no real "fix" to the fact that the "Get Windows 10" app doesn't appear on your system, but I can try to assist you with it.

First of all, I'll ask you to try every single solutions in the two links below. If nothing works, let me know.
