Hey Guys & Gals,

I currently have Windows 8.1 64bit oem on my system.
I just recently purchased upgrade package that will update system to 8.1 Pro 64bit.

My 1st question is, when I install the upgrade package will all my programs/software, still be in system and usable or will I have to reinstall everything?

Next, will all my documents, emails and all other items still be on system and usable?

Last question depending on your answer(s) to other questions. Do i have to deactivate software that requires activation's such as Adobe software?

Thanks in advance

Hi GrenPa.

Imo there shouldn't be problems, but it's usually safe to save backups of your important files, make a system restore point and a system image (obviously, backups and image should be on another drive, not connected to your machine).
The system should be updated (every windows updates installed).
The process should take less than 15 minutes (someone says from 5 to 10 minutes).
