Windows 7 x64 - Unable to install IE11, "system cannot find the file specified".

Thank you for all your help last time. I need your help again.

I have no SFC errors, no DISM "health" errors. I've run SFCFix and get the all clear. When I run the IE11 installer it fails. I've run SURT, it completed, I rebooted, IE11 install fails.
When I try to install the packages manually or look in the IE11_main.log I see the error "The system cannot find the file specified."

I've attached the CBS folder and the IE11_main.log

Any help you can provide would be great!

The pre-requisitie updates have been installed, but I haven't double checked the optional updates.

The current version of IE is IE10, 10.0.9200.22139 -- update versions 10.0.50 (KB4018271)

Step#1 - Capture Process Monitor Trace
 1. Download and run Process Monitor. Leave this running while you perform the next steps. Enable ProcMon cca 1 minute before the failure!
2. Try installing the update just like you have in the past.
3. Stop Process Monitor as soon as it fails. You can simply do this by clicking the magnifying glass on the toolbar as shown below.

4. Select the File menu...Save... and save the file to your desktop. This is likely the default location. The name (unless changed) will be LogFile.PML. This is fine.
5. Zip up and attach the LogFile.PML file as well as your CBS.log

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
  2. Download the file below, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
  5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please - put
    Code:
    tags around the log to break up the text.

Can you manually copy the folder provided in the SFCFix.zip to the following location: C:\Users\Staff\AppData\Local\Temp\0D75BCED-12B1-4AA3-99AB-F2FBB45D51C1

I did not want you to do that. I just wanted you to copy the folder. Please do not make any changes before consulting with me. Thanks.

Go ahead and try IE11 again. Attach IE11_main.log and CBS.log if it fails.

Afterwards, run SURT and attach CheckSUR.log.
