Hello,
I've done my best to follow the posting instructions and have attached the SFCfix log & linked the CBS zip. I have run SFCfix, per the instructions, because there were SFC issues, which windows couldn't resolve.
Notes and things worth mentioning:
Before arriving to this forum, I've tried quite a bit to resolve this issue, intermittently, over the last year (one of the error-ed updates has hung around since last year!), following advice read from various forums & write ups. Most recently, I reset the Windows Update Agent, manually installed various updates from the microsoft site, used the update readiness tool, cleaned out cluttered files with ccleaner, etc. In the past (many months ago), I've had to reinstall windows redistributables because of issues with games in Steam, which may or may not have caused this (I don't recall), though I no longer use Steam hardly ever. I bought this computer brand new in 2016 in China, where I lived at the time, from a Chinese vendor and manufacturer (Hasee). Some months after purchasing, I did some malware scans and I was alerted of suspicious files installed on the computer. To my recollection, the files were supposedly a type of driver installer kit, though I can't be certain since it was a couple years ago. The software (malwarebytes, I believe) deleted the files for me. Since then, I've been more security conscious. Finally, the last noteworthy bit, though maybe irrelevant, is that I've had consistent problems with the windows language pack, which isn't necessary for me to us anymore. When I try to uninstall a display language in the control panel, clicking the "Install/Uninstall Languages" button, an error for "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library". Furthermore, I'm denied access to delete the folders manually.
Sorry for including so much in the text, I just wanted to add in what may could potentially have some bearing on the issue. Let me know if you have any questions, as I'll be awaiting your instructions.
