I have a Dell E6400 Win 7 Ultimate SP1 all updates, Intel Duo P8600 8GB RAM. Rebuilt in December because of HD crash. Has been working wonderful since.
I will try to keep this short. I use this PC for ham radio with multiple USB COM Ports adapters. It was set up before with these for years with no problem. I take the laptop to two places, each with Dell port replicators with different devices. Been working between both locations for the last month no issues. Today I went up and got the BSoD. Came home, reset the BIOS. Got it boot undocked. When I docked back came the blue screen. However I installed the last piece of equipment. It is a USB COM device with the manufacturer specific driver. After I installed and tested everything was working. So before writing this I did go into windows and deleted the device driver. Reboot, same thing. I did go back to the oldest good cofig, same thing. If I were to guess, somehow usbhub.sys seems to be throwing the exception first throwing an exception in throwing the Ftdibus.sys exception that results in the BSoD. FTDI chips are know for being the best USB COM Port chip. Never an issue. Maybe I unplugged something before shutting down. But the new hardware was powered off before disconnecting and shutting down.
How can i repair this error? SynaptiveFileCollectionApp.zip has been uploaded. Thank you!

Well not sure what caused the problem. However one of the USB devices is now damaged. After deleting all of the USB com port drivers PC boots. Reinstalling the devices and one is damaged. Not sure why. Installed a spare and it works. Maybe spike in docking station port? Don't know but the big problem is fixed.
