I tried the System Update Readiness Tool then reinstall SP1; however, it still failed with the same error code.

The CBS log files are attached. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hello and Welcome to Sysnative forums

As you have already ran SURT can you please upload the following logs.

C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.persist.log

Hello :)

Sorry that was my fault for abbreviating SURT. For future reference SURT stands for System Update Readiness Tool :)

SURT has detected a few errors:

Hi, I do everything step by step that you say. It gives me a error code 0X800f0818. Then I google this, the checkSUR shows:
Unavailable repair files: servicing\packages\Package_for_KB2685813~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~6.1.1.11.mum
servicing\packages\Package_for_KB2685813~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~6.1.1.11.cat
So then I download the KB2685813 that need repair, but when I try to extract the msu through cmd, it cant be opened.
CMD expand –f:* Windows6.1-KBXXXXXX-x86.msu C:\\ExtractedMsu\\

Hello, my dear friend

I did that again that you gave me, but the same error happened. The log show the same error.
Now I guess maybe the packs.zip you gave me might lost something, because I didn't see the files that the log says, just my guess

Thank you :)

Hello again :)

That's a strange error to see here, lets take a look at the event logs to see if any indication is shown as to why this is occurring:

Event Log Viewer

  1. Please download VEW.exe from Here and save it to your desktop.
  2. Go to your desktop and right click on VEW.exe and choose Run as Administrator
  3. Once open set the following settings
    • 'Select log to query'
      1. Tick Application
      2. Tick System
    • 'Select Type to list'
      1. Tick Critical
      2. Tick Error
      3. Tick Information
      4. Tick Warning
    • 'Number or date events'
      1. Tick Number of Events and set it to 20
  4. Click on Run
  5. Once completed a notepad file will open. Please copy and paste the contents of VEW.txt back into this thread.

Hello :)

I try it again and again, but still the same error(0x800f0818), I dont know how to fix that... And when I reboot the computer, the files in packages lost.
