Windows 7 Update fix the error 80070490

I have problems with Windows Update. I fixed the error 80070422, I have problems to fix the error 80070490. Can you help me ?
 
After an hour that SFCFix.exe works, the checking of CheckSUR.log… seems to never end. It's normal ?

Checking CBS.persist.log…

The answer of your server to upload of my CBS.zip folder is "The uploaded file is too large". And now ? Can I erase the CBS.zip folder from my Desktop ? The original CBS folder on my PC is 356 MB, date of creation July 2009.
 
Based on the state of your logs, I would recommend you try upgrading to Windows 10:

  1. Download the Media Creation Tool and save this to your desktop. Go ahead and run this as well. Note: Click the Download tool now button when you get to this link.
  2. Accept the License Agreement
  3. Download the ISO file to your desktop.
  4. Double-click on the ISO and then run the setup to try and upgrade your machine.

If I use the Media Creation Tool to upgrade WIndows 7 to Windows 10 are you sure that all my softwares, data, files continue to work properly ? I have Microsoft Office 2000 Professional, can I use it with Windows 10 ?

It's necessary a backup of all data before run the Media Creation Tool ?

In your opinion is better buy a new PC, already with Windows 10 ? :-)

To use the support.microsoft.com, I haven't the CD of Windows 7, I've bought my PC in a supermarket.

No, especially not that old.

I would recommend that you do backup all of your data to an external drive or an USB.

That depends on multiple factors, how old is the current machine, what do you need it to do, etc. I personally always get custom built systems because they are better value than pre-builts.

"...what do you need it to do..." I use it for Photography (I have an old version of Photosop), to surf on internet.

In considerations of your remarks, I think is better to continue to use my PC without upgrade it to Windows 10. I think to a new machine with a cost of not more of 1000 € with Windows 10.

Are you agree with me ?
 
There are decent custom builds for 500-600 $. If you decide to stay on Windows 7 instead, you will have to get an ISO or an install DVD in order to repair the current system.

In Italy now there are pre-builts PC (Asus, HP, Lenovo) with Windows 10, 8 GB RAM, 500 GB HD, Intel CORE i5 or i7 to an affordable price. But I need a HDM for my EIZO monitor, a LAN for a ADSL router and some USB.

Any your remarks are appreciate.

I'm talking about custom builds, as in buying parts, not the system as it provides better value for your money.

You should be able to contact any decent store or let me know which stores are available and I can see what's an okay shop to buy stuff from.

There is Euronics a chain of whorkshop throughout Italy, they sell not only PC.

The PC are Asus, HP, Lenovo (I not buy Acer) and MSI (???) with Intel Core i7 or i5, RAM 8 or 16 GB, Hard Disk 500 GB or 1 TB, Graphic Card RTX 2060 6GB or NVIDIA GetForce GTX 1650 4 GB. The selling price are

from 1000 to 1400 € (discount prices - not Black Friday, but Black November). They sell also HP (I have an HP) with different features (e.g. Intel Core i5) to a price of 550 € (discounted price). All with Windows 10.

There is also Eurex (www.eurex.it), a shop near my home (10 km) that sell PC, Smartphone, where I bought my EIZO monitor some years ago.

Any your remarks are appreciate.
