Windows 7 Update Errors and Color Issues

I recently used a couple antivirus programs to clean up my PC as it had some problems. However, some problems have remained even after multiple scans using programs such as Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes.

So firstly, whenever I log in to Windows, my screen colors are all messed up for about a minute then go back to normal. This occurs again whenever I open Google Chrome, but stays messed up until I close google chrome. I am not sure if there are any other programs on my PC that may also cause this happen. I have updated Google Chrome too. The color problem does not occur in Safe mode though.

The second problem is that Windows keeps on failing to update. I tried a number of methods to fix it, and it does fix a little bit, as in some updates that weren't updating before update, while others continue to fail.
