I ran the Win System update tool after recent problems with updates, it took 3 hours, still have 171 file errors.

My system is an Intel Win 7 Professional 64bit, Service Pack 1, not sure why I see files with AMD 64 as a reference...

I attached the log files, there were .cab files in the CBS FOlder that were too large (total 92MB) to attach

Hello and welcome

From your other CheckSur scan there were over 1070 missing files!:
Code:
 Found 1073 errors
 Fixed 902 errors
CBS MUM Missing Total count: 1072
Fixed: CBS MUM Missing. Total count: 901
CBS Catalog Missing Total count: 1
Fixed: CBS Catalog Missing. Total count: 1
Fixed: CBS Paired File. Total count: 902

This is not normal, have you (and please be honest) gone in and deleted some .mum files from C:\Windows\Servicing\Packages ? or ran any tools that cleaned up HDD space? If you have not done either this could be a sign of HDD failure.

The system uses an LSI Megaraid controller with 2 SSD 512 GB set up as Raid 1 for the OS and programs. Data is on a Raid 5 with 4 x 1TB SSD.
One week ago I had a system crash after either:
A Windows update
A drive clean up with the Windows tool
Installation of a new version of Acronis True Image.
I had to restore with a Windows disk along with the Raid driver.
I deleted the Acronis software ( but I have been using for years without any issues)
After the system was restored it went into an update loop and I finally got it to "uninstall the last update" which took hours.
A Windows checkdisk found no errors and the Megaraid software did not report any image errors.
The system appeared OK, but after a big set of Windows updates I found the 3 Freak patches failed. Eventually I ran the Update fix tool and after, the 3 patches installed OK. After that I found the log files and the large number of repairs and the 170+ unfixed items.

Just wanted to give you an update. We sourced most of your files but are having trouble finding some. We're still working on it at the moment.

We're not having any luck locating the last of the files. Do you happen to have another "working" machine that used the same windows image by chance?

I do have an image of the system but it is a year or so old (I do have an image of the system after the last major hardware change).
What file names should I look for:

We are looking for the following exact file names. They would be located in the following folder C:\Windows\servicing\Packages

I should note that we were hoping that you had a different machine that is working fine that have these files. If you find them on an image of the same machine they may be corrupt as well. Let's see what you are able to find.

I have 1 of the 2 KB-------- sets of files in a system image made after the last significant hardware update on 10/8/2013.

Should I just try to add all of the files from this image to the Package folder with "skip if duplicate found", rerun the tool and see what is now missing?

The KB2952664 update was a system compatibility update in 2014.

Can you zip up the ones that you did find and attach them to your next reply? We need to check them for corruption before we do anything. Thanks.
