Windows 7 SP1 x64 - Monthly rollups of January and February 2019 including the separate .NET update package won't install
Attached are the logs needed after running everything in the instructions.
SFC /scannow indicates there is corruption that cannot be fixed but then it doesn't list any corrupt files.
SFCFix doesn't list any corruption.

Link is for my CBS folder after running everything recommended. January and February fail.

Oddly, this picture seems to show 'success' February 21 - but why does it keep installing?

Hello and welcome,

Follow the instructions below to run a scan with the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) and provide a log.
  1. Download SURT for your system. (Windows 7 SP1 x64)
  2. Once downloaded, execute the installer, and go through the installation (this process can take around 15-20 minutes).
  3. On completion, a log will be created in C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log.
  4. Attach this log in your next reply.
Alternatively, if these instructions are unclear for you, you can follow the tutorial below.

Hello! I think I ran that.
Can you check the cbs zip file in my link above
Thanks for your assistance

Can you check the cbs zip file in my link above
Thank you, found the file.

Boot your computer into a Clean Boot state following these instructions: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.
After that, run sfc /scannow again and report the result.
If it fails, zip all files in the folder C:\Windows\Logs\CBS and attach it to your next reply.

Here you go.

I tried running:

* In Clean Boot - Link

* In Safe Mode w/ Command Prompt - Link

Unforutunately, it still indicates cannot fix corruption.

Follow the instructions below please.

WARNING! The following fix is specific to the user's system in this thread only. No one else should follow these instructions, as it could damage your system.

FRST Scan
  1. Download the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop:
64-bit: Downloading Farbar Recovery Scan Tool
  2. Right-click to run the tool as administrator. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  3. Note: Ensure that the Addition.txt check box is checked at the bottom of the form within the Optional Scan area.
  4. Press the Scan button.
  5. Please wait for the tool to finish. It will produce two logfiles called FRST.txt and Addition.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should be the desktop)
  6. Post the logfiles FRST.txt and Addition.txt as attachment in your next reply.

Uninstall the following security tools completely, reboot the machine and check Windows Update again.
Please note that your machine is less protected against viruses and malware. Best to check for Windows Updates only and reinstall Bitdefender Endpoint Security Tools Antimalware again afterwards.

Uninstall the following programs:
  • Bitdefender Endpoint Security Tools Antimalware
  • Spybot Anti-Beacon
  • Tea Timer

OK it worked again after I uninstalled Cybervision Ransomfree, Cryptoprevent, and BitDefender

I later reinstalled them and updates continue to work fine ongoing, so who knows what happened before!

Thanks for your feedback. Can we mark this thread as solved ?

Your welcome.

Take care.
