Hi,
I own 2 PCs: one Atom cpu powered (Samsung N110 netbook) and one with e350 AMD (Sapphire Pure White).
They are very different, but the only component they share is a Marvell Yukon NIC card.
I installed Windows 7 32 bit SP1 on the Samsung N110 and the 64 bit version on the AMD PC.

After many windows 7 installation and format, I achived to enable Windows Update on the e350 AMD pc.. I understand that Marvell Yukon driver are problematic. On the e350 AMD pc, if I do not install the driver and let the device be unknown to windows, the wsus works.

I installed no drivers on Samsung N110. I disabled the ethernet nic card on the netbook bios and I reinstalled windows 7 again.
The Windows update is looking for updates forvever, no errors. No new lines on WindowsUpdate.log.
High memory used by svchost.exe that runs the windows update service. I delete the softwaredistribution folder many times.

Here is the SFCFix log:

Can you help me to solve this problem?

Hi stackoverflow -

Have you allowed your machine to continue checking updates for an entire evening? You may need to disable hybernate/sleep to allow it to continue all night.

Hi BrainDrab,
I'd like to thank you, you suggestion was right for my situation: disabled hibernation and suspension, left the pc work.
It downloaded the updates and I successfully installed them.

Regards,
S.
