I installed Windows 7 fresh and installed SP1. Now, when I try to check manually for Windows Updates it just hangs on the Checking for updates screen.

note:
Cannot install any KBXXXXX
Infinite loop, hang, freeze etc. (?) NON-STOP MESSAGE: "Searching for updates" and nothing else happens for a long, long, long time.

"Easy Fix" OR "FixIt" (Infinite loop also)

OR different error:

Scripts do not work:
Not found folders
Invalid path
Not found file
incorrect syntax

ATTENTION: Scripts (CMD, REG) cause new, more complicated errors in the my system!

How to solve and quickly identify what causes errors?
(If all solutions fail)

"Check for updates ..."
This action in the background, is it possible to check this example. Debug log (what exactly does in the background and how it connects etc.)

Thanks. Please perform a Clean boot of your machine following the instructions at the link below and then follow the proceeding steps.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135

1. Download Update.zip and save it to your desktop.
2. Right-click on Update.zip and select Extract all...
3. Keep the default extract path and ensure that "Show extracted files when complete" is checked. Click the Extract button.
4. Once extracted you will see 6 update files and a script file named InstallPrereqMsu. Right-click on this script file and choose Run as administrator. Answer Yes if the UAC prompt comes up.
5. Allow this script to finish and then reboot your machine.
You will know you waited long enough when it says the following at the bottom of the command-prompt window.
Code:
[B]Press any key to continue . . .[/B]

Let me know when complete.

I want undo all update. How to ?

OK, so can you confirm that Windows Updates now finds updates that need installed?

Can you also confirm that you do not wish to upgrade to Windows 10?
