Hello Community,
unfortunatly my Windows 7 x64 System fails to install all monthly rollups for more than 6 month now. Always showing me errorcode 80073701. It first occured after i did a hardreset the system was stuck "installing" another update after booting for more than half an hour. Im sorry to say that I cannot remember what update exactly it was, maybe related to the .net framework, I could be wrong about that.
After trying several things like installing some windows update stack fix. I also tried to remove the update that got me into that mess and the removal failed.
So still nothing works..
Consulting this forum my impression is that there is no generally applicable fix...
Maybe you can help.
I followed the forum instructions and have run sfc scan, surt/dism and sfc fix:
here are my results:
SFCFix version 3.0.2.1 by niemiro.
