Hello,

It looks like the security roll ups for a Windows 7 seem to be failing. Specifically KB4534310 is failing with error code 8024200D, I've also tried manually running the MSU for KB4534310 but it fails.

Before creating this post as per your guidelines I have tried:
1) Manually running the MSU
2) sfc /scannow - did not find any integrity violations
3) Ran SURT
4) Ran Niemiro's SFCFix - seem 98 errors

That's the last non-paid update for Windows 7 from January 2020. My notes indicate that I needed to install the SSU (Servicing Stack update)
Microsoft Update Catalog
and check that a manual install of SHA-2 code was already installed from Sept. 2019
Microsoft Update Catalog

First check that you've installed KB4474419 from Sept. 2019; if it isn't installed, install it manually.
Second check that KB4536952 from January 2020 was installed before trying the security rollup.

I'm not qualified to read logs so you'll have to wait for someone to come along and solve your update problem, sorry.

Hi,

Lets try this:

Install Update using Dism
  1. Please download kb4457144 save the file to c:\windows\temp
  2. change the name of the update file to a smaller name Windows6.1-kb4457144-x64.msu
(keep the extension .msu in the end of the file name in case its visible if not ignore that)
  3. open the Command Prompt as Administrator (Tutorial)
  4. type or Copy & Paste the following commands line by line:

    cd /d c:\windows\temp
    expand Windows6.1-kb4457144-x64.msu -f:* C:\windows\temp
    DISM.exe /Online /Add-Package /PackagePath:C:\windows\temp\Windows6.1-kb4457144-x64.cab
  5. You should receive the message:
    The operation completed successfully.
Restart Windows to complete this operation.
Do you want to restart the computer now (Y/N)?
  6. Make sure to allow the computer to restart if prompted.

If you receive any other message:
  7. Right-click on the Command Prompt window and click Select All, this will invert all of the colors by selecting the text, now press enter. All of this text is now copied.
  8. Paste (Ctrl+V) it into your next post please.

Note: If DISM fails please attach the CBS.log
