I have this error on a computer on my network, I have followed the instructions posted here and anywhere else, but I still cannot make it work, I'm hoping some of you can help me.
sfc /scannow showed no errors, ran it several times, System Update Readiness tool installed with no problem, SFCFix reported no errors, also ran it many times, CBS folder here, Components here.

Thank you all in advance.

Hello again!

Step#1 - FRST Scan

1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Right-click FRST64.exe and click Run as Administrator to run it as administrator. When the tool opens, click Yes to disclaimer.
3. Please ensure you place a check mark in the Addition.txt check box at the bottom of the form before running (if not already checked).
4. Press Scan button.
5. It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should now be the desktop)
6. Please attach the log back here.
7. Another log (Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST64.exe) will be generated Please also attach that along with the FRST.txt in your reply.

Strange that the AV may cause this, we have over a hundred identical computers with same AV and no problems so far, but uninstalled it anyway, rebooted and tried the updates, they failed just the same

It has more software on it than the rest, since belongs to the programmer working on the PBX and other stuff.

I suppose! Any suggestion on how? Although, we cannot uninstall anything until he comes back on January, I am working on his computer because he´s on leave.

Performed a clean boot, installed the updates, upon restarting same error, windows is reverting changes...

Here are the FRST files from my computer which is fully updated.

As expected, install failed again, here is the setupapi.dev.log.

Sorry for the delay, today was a long day and without my partner to help it is a lot of work for myself.

Only keyboard, mouse, headphones, that's it, I can unplug them and try again tomorrow if you think it may help (I'm no longer at the office).
