Hi,

windows update gives error 8E5E0408 - 80000FFFF - 800706BB

the windows update Diagnostic and SURT can't fix the issue.
SFCFix find no error.

I give you the CBS and ChekSur logs : Dropbox - 0508161000

I hope you could help me

Hi elburi,

Do you still need assistance with this issue?

Alright :) Since I don't see traces of a SFC scan in your CBS.log, we'll run it now.

System File Checker (SFC)
Follow the instructions below to run a SFC scan on your system and to provide the CBS log in your next reply;
  • On Windows Vista & 7, click on the Windows Start Menu, then enter cmd in the search box, right-click on the cmd icon and select
    Spcusrh.png
    Run as Administrator
  • On Windows 8, drag your cursor in the bottom-left corner, and right-click on the metro menu preview, then select Command Prompt (Admin);
  • On Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, right click on the Windows logo in the bottom-left corner and select Command Prompt (Admin);
  • Enter the command below and press on Enter;
    Code:
    sfc /scannow
    Note: There's a space between "sfc" and "/scannow";
  • Once the scan is complete, enter the command below and press on Enter
    Code:
    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
  • A file called cbs.txt will have appeared on your Desktop. Upload the file on Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive and post the download URL for it here;
Note: Please note that the CBS.log is volatile, which means that if you don't upload it after the SFC scan is completed, it won't have the information from the scan anymore. So archive it and upload it as soon as you can.

The only corrupt files comes from the KB3068708 (telemetry update), but they shouldn't affect your ability to download and install Windows Update. Which update are you trying to install? What's the KB?

The KB3068708 is already installed :) You can simply list one of the update (KB) you have to install.

For now, just try to install all your other updates, and let me know if they go through or if they failed :)

there's a new issue :

the upadtes were installed as well but when I rebooted there was the message : failure configuring updates windows.
Cancel changes .
after the reboot, the updates must be installed one more time.

How many updates do you have to install in total?

i had 65 but i installed each one by one et it stay 9 updates to install.
I tried to install the 9 manually but it failed.

the list : KB3110329
KB3109103
KB3109094
KB3093513
KB3154070
KB3138962
KB3147071
KB3153171
KB3146706

Try to install the KB3110329 again. If it fails, upload the two files below for me to review.

C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log
C:*\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
