Hello

I have a computer which gives the error "TX4OLE.OCX failed to register" when a particular application tries to load.
I attempted to run sfc /scannow and while it detected problems with the system it failed to repair them.

I ran the SFCFix tool and it also detected the corrupted files in the winsxs folder but was unable to repair the problems.
Which leads me here

The scan results are attached

Hi and welcome to Sysnative. Please do the following so I can gather more info.

Step#1 - System Update Readiness Tool (SUR)
1. Download and run the following file.
2. When it asks you if you wish to install, please answer yes. Note: It could take 15 minutes or more to run. Please don't cancel.
3. You will get an Installation Complete screen when it's done running.
4. Please attach the log from the following location. C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log
Please Note:: if the file is too big to upload to your next post please upload via a service such as Dropbox or One Drive or SendSpace and just provide the link.

Thank you for your reply.

However it looks like I won't need further help.
I ran a diagnostic on the computer and the OS HDD is actually failing.
