Hi, having issues with an ASUS P5N-T Deluxe, modded to take a xeon 771 (E5440) with windows 7 installed on it and 4gigs of DDR2 (2x1G, 1x2G).
So far I've made sure I have the latest nforce drivers for the 780i chipset, that the drive windows is installed to was good and that the current install of windows had no issues with corrupt system files and was pretty much up to date. However it despite that the DPC latency issues, the problems it causes are still with me, resulting in audio issues, sound cutting out in some games and minor graphical corruption and aside from running latency mon (can provide the logs if need be) and cutting and pasting the xperf commands, I'm at my limits of windows troubleshooting and so here's the xperf CPU.etl file in a 7z archive:
Zippyshare.com - CPU.7z
Other issue that's cropped up is some files have gone missing since all three of my hard drives were plugged into the motherboard as JBOD, with file copying going wrong when copying from C:\ to E:\ for backup purposes, leaving me missing a large number of program settings and some weird behaviour with firefox not able to read it's history and bookmark files properly.
Hopefully this isn't what I'm thinking it is (chipset's damaged) and I don't have to go find a suitable socket 775 motherboard, because I'm no able to work much at present due to depression symptoms.
And a big thanks to community here, your guides on DPC latency helped me greatly to work out just wtf was wrong with this build.
Cheers.
