Windows 7 [2019-07 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x86-based Systems (KB4507449)] Update Fail

Hello,

I have tried to update my Windows 7 SP1 PC for some time now and keep getting error messages. It started back with the Monthly Quality Service update from 05/2018 and since then no monthly quality service or security updates have succeeded. I tried to run the Windows Update Repair tool from the Microsoft website and still can not successfully install the current [2019-07 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x86-based Systems (KB4507449)] update. I keep receiving a error code of 80073701 - Windows Update encountered and unknown error.

I have completed the steps in your posting guide and files are below. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome,

Remove Update Manually

1. Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt.
2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, then press enter.
   wusa /uninstall /KB:4093118
   
4. Let me know if it says it was successful or if there are any errors.

Hi again,

So I was able to successfully uninstall the update listed above and install a few updates for my system.

However, now {Update for Windows 7 (KB2952664)} keeps failing to install and keeps giving me the same error message listed above.

Zip the file C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\cbs.log to your desktop and attach it to your next reply.
