It started back with the Monthly Quality Service update from 05/2018 and since then no monthly quality service or security updates have succeeded. I tried to run the Windows Update Repair tool from the Microsoft website and still can not successfully install the current [2019-07 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x86-based Systems (KB4507449)] update. I keep receiving a error code of 80073701 - Windows Update encountered and unknown error. I have completed the steps in your posting guide and files are below. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :) CBS.zip Attachments SFCFix.txt 1.1 KB · Views: 3

When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, then press enter. wusa /uninstall /KB:4093118 Let me know if it says it was successful or if there are any errors.

However, now {Update for Windows 7 (KB2952664)} keeps failing to install and keeps giving me the same error message listed above. Thanks again for all your continued help.
