Hi people,

i hope you can give some light on my issue. (similar to [SOLVED] - KB4524570 fails with 0x80073712 for on Win 10, DISM fails with 14098, SFC fails)
On this case on Windows 2016 Server.

Trying to install November cumulative patch, also SSU it´s not working, also DISM says all is ok.

Checking the CBS log, i could see an issue on the Container:

"2019-11-19 13:03:47, Error CSI 0000009b@2019/11/19:12:03:47.892 (F) onecore\base\wcp\componentstore\versionedindex.cpp(3705): Store corruption detected in function ComponentStore::CRawStoreLayout::CheckFamilyIndexForDeadWinnerComponent expression: (null) "

And many other errors:

2019-11-19 13:03:48, Info CBS Failed to resolve execution chain. [HRESULT = 0x80073712 - ERROR_SXS_COMPONENT_STORE_CORRUPT]
2019-11-19 13:03:48, Error CBS Failed to process single phase execution. [HRESULT = 0x80073712 - ERROR_SXS_COMPONENT_STORE_CORRUPT]"

"C:\>sfc /scannow

Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service."

The last Cumulative patch is from September.

Attached are the files, cbs, dism, sfc, sfcfix.

Step#1 - Capture Process Monitor Trace
1. Download and run Process Monitor. Leave this running while you perform the next steps.
2. Try updating the system just like you have in the past.
3. Stop Process Monitor as soon as it fails. You can simply do this by clicking the magnifying glass on the toolbar as shown below.

4. Select the File menu...Save... and save the file to your desktop. This is likely the default location. The name (unless changed) will be LogFile.PML. This is fine.
5. Zip up and provide the link to the LogFile.PML file as well as your CBS.log Examples of services to upload to are Dropbox or OneDrive or SendSpace.
