[SOLVED] windows 2008 update sp1 error

Hello and welcome! Does the install fail at configuration and revert back?

If so, please attach: C:\Windows\Inf\setupapi.dev.log after the failed SP1 installation attempt.
 
Add Missing Package
1. Click the Start button and type cmd.exe in the search box.
2. Right-click on the cmd that comes up and select Run as administrator.
3. Once you are at the command prompt, copy/paste the following line and hit enter.
pnputil -a C:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_wvmbus.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16816_none_95c25082c37eac83\wvmbus.inf

Let me know if it says successfully installed. If it does, try installing SP1.

Yes it was installed succesfully,and after when reboot for install the sp1 it throws the same error. Error 80070490

It has already installed the service pack and more updates. But now it's stuck again with code 8024200D.
