before anyone asks, yes, we still have a system on Windows 2008 R2 that is looking to get upgraded next year. It is specfically Windows 2008 R2 Datacenter SP1. However, we are having an issue patching as we have extended security updates from MS. We have been normally patching the server but then some time late last year, the patches will no longer apply and get the following error "The update is not applicable to your computer". Odd item is we are still able to apply other patches like .net. Trying different monthly security patches, servicing stack patches, we still get the same error.

We reapplied extended licensing to verify that was good (it continues to work on our servers). We performed KB947821 and it fixed some issues found in the checksur.log but still has 11 errors that remain that are unable to be fixed and searching the web, i have not found any solution but did come upon this website that i have seen some folks get help with SUR errors.

any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Below and enclosed are the errors.
