Hello there!
I found out last night that an update fails to install itself, tho it manages to download but then an error is shown once it's almost reached 100%.
The error is 0x80188309 (E_REGISTRY_COLLISION)
I tried basic things last night like restart my computer and a simple /sfc scannow but no luck, also tried the Windows Update troubleshoot, it seems to have found something but it still gives me that error.
So I've followed the Posting instructions, please find attached the CBS.zip and ComponentsScanner.txt.
For your information there are errors about registry collisions in the file CbsPersist_20240701141923 in the CBS.zip folder and it seems the update fails with this error (line 391239):
2024-07-01 16:15:45, Error CSI 00004b52 (F) Error: 1 critical registry value collisions detected, failing.
I could not find this critical registry value because of my lack of expertise on this matter, and maybe it's not even the issue, this is why I come to you, any help will be much appreciate it!
Thank you!
Regards
