hi guys ,
i recently updated my windows 10 and now it wont let me use my second monitor. the first screen is using the HDMI slot on my GTX 780 , the second screen is using the DVI socket. when starting up my computer the second screen is in use and shows the bios screen.
Once i have logged in my main monitor works. i have tried using the display settings to detect it , but nothing. used nvidia control panel and still nothing. then tried to use windows key + P to make it extend to both monitors and still nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.

many thanks

yes one is in the hdmi socket and the other is in the dvi . it was working for around 6 months and then the recent update happened and now it wont connect.

If both monitors connected to same graphic card then issue could be graphic card driver, install latest version of the graphic card driver from graphic card manufacturer website. If you have latest driver installed then either reinstall the driver it could be corrupted or install previous version of the graphic card driver because latest version of the driver could be buggy.
