Hi, as per the title of this post, I've problem with Windows Updates.

I've tried to run the build-in Windows Updates troubleshooters as well as resetting the software distribution folder (as seen: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...80080005/07b6e544-a501-4492-851d-83fcb80e8f2f ), but both didn't do anything.

As for the forum posting instruction, I've followed all steps described and did not encounter any error message, all tasks were completed successfully.

Anyone has better suggestion? Thanks.

Full error message: There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80080005)

Thanks for the replies, softwaremaniac.

Support at Windows Community sorted out the problem for me earlier. Turned out was because the Windows Updates service is missing. The problem was resolved by doing in place upgrade using the Media Creation Tool. Now the updates are working as that should and I'm on Windows 10 version 1809, build 17763.316.

Again, thanks for your reply though.
